Kottawatta Village, located steps from Udawalawe National Park, provides a calm and picturesque escape from the city as well as night camping. In public places, there is free Wi-Fi. The Rose Restaurant on-site provides Western, Chinese, and Sri Lankan cuisine.

Kottawatta Village is one kilometre from Udawalawe Bus Station and five minutes from Udawalawe Junction. Katunayake International Airport is about 150 kilometres distant. There is no charge for parking.
